In regards to collectibles, only one trophy requires you to collect all Garden Gnomes in the game.

No trophies are missable, so feel free to ignore this trophy until the end of the game when you have completed the main game story. In total there are 36 trophies which you will need to earn in order to unlock this trophy. You can track your progress for this trophy in the Stats menu by pressing and then navigating to Stats > General > Room Trophies Unlocked > X/36.

Once you have earned a trophy it will only be registered upon returning to your dorm room. The vast majority are story related, and will be unlocked as you progress through the main story, as well as working on the other trophies in the game. These trophies are unlocked by completing various missions, classes, tasks etc, throughout the game. Room trophies relate to the various decorations that you earn for your dormitory room throughout the game.
